Not looking for a heated debate just wondering what do you guys recommend for PSI to be for casual driving. i have toyo proxy z4 tires, right now i am keeping them at 38 front 41 in the back. possibly to high just wondering what your thoughts are.

thats pretty high man. Think about this, when you drive the air in your tire gets heated, heat expands, to much pressure in your tire, boom-u get a blown tire and your car does a roll out on the expressway as u slide to a stop you think "man I should have only put 32 psi of air in my tire. God forbid of course. You prolly knew that already anyway

I have Proxes4's and run 32 in front and rear. After a trip to work they are around 34-35.

Aint you the blue bird of happiness. Just how much pressure do you think will be generated by doing legal speeds on an expressway?

You got the guy rolling to a stop because of a few PSI? How many blowouts have you ever heard of? He's not even close to the max for the tire and I bet you could put twenty more pounds over max without doing any pressure related damage to the tire. You might wear out the centers faster, if anything.

I run all 4 of my stock tires at 38 cold; and I had them all bumped up to 45 when I Auto-X'ed.
