I'm posting this for my buddy, as he is at work, and we can't figure out the problem, and I am helping to fix his car. Last night after work he installed some LED lights in his brake lights. When he put them back in the car, his tail lights wont work, but brakes will, and his interior gauge lights wont work, and his fog lights don't come one. Neither will his aftermarket gauges he installed. We checked every fuse in the car, and they are all good. I'm thinking maybe some kind of relay, but not sure wich one, and it seemed kinda hard to get a relay off the board. Is it attached some how or do you just have to pull really hard?

If anyone has had any similiar encounter please share your wisdom or even if you know what the problem is please help. I don't work on grandam's at all, I just help him sometimes, so I'm not all that familiar with it. Thanks guys I appreciate it.

i did search, and i sure as hell didn't pull that one up, or i wouldn't have posted it

instead of just deleting posts like a retard, you could say something then lock it so te person posting know what the hell is going on......

some people need to learn to be polite instead of as$h0les

so what ended up being the problem? Was it a wiring SNAFU?

lol well one problem was that he plugged the leds in without "fixing" them, but we know that now....and the second problem was that he never checked the fuses under the hood, which he told me he did, so i changed that out and it all works now, and we are gonna figure something out about the leds

is there not some leds that are just plug and play?

in order to use leds in tails you need to either modify them if you have jamstraits or get load resistors. one for each side. they can be found here www.superbrightleds.com
