ok i went to replace my coolant Temp. Sensor and I got the old one out went to put in the new one and it started to crossthread so I backed it out, but neither one of the sensors will now go back in. I let the engine sit for a long while before I started the work. Please tell me any advice or anything, I am now having to take the day off, that I can't afford. I am overly concerned I just F'd up my engine block. someone? Anything?

Call a local parts store and ask them. Dosent hurt to call. I have no idea, I pay someone else to do any work related to ym motor. Besides oil.

Well the sensor's threads are not terribly bad, the first two are a little more rounded than the rest. The block though looks bad, no threads at first then some in the back.

1. Don't force something that should start off easy...
How many threads you have left?
3/5 you should be alright..
< that, you are going to need to tap it.
Tap out the old threads...
Hex-coil its like a spring screw stick that in..
Screw in housing.
If you have never done it..
Not Fun..
