tried to switch the fog light led unsoldered the amber led soldered in a green 1 didnt go to well. im gonna try again cause i think i soldered in in backwards. it does light up though for like a millisecond when i turn fogs on... also does anyone know if ill have to add a resistor or if the way im trying should work lemme know thanks.... ive never worked with led's or actually having to solder something before this.... thanks

most likely need a resistor. I have no idea what size, but im sure you do.

first you need to find out what those LEDs are rated for in terms of what they can take, then determine the amount of power that is going into where the LED is plugged in (either by using a meter you can buy at radioshack, or im sure it's in a haynes manual), then you can determine the type of resistor you need
or you may be able to find an LED that is already rated for the power going into where it plugs in at radioshack or some other electronics store
