tire warranty/tsb

I have a question for all of you with tire problems. My car has less than thirty thousand miles on it, thus it is still under warranty, I went into the dealer for the tire problem as described in the tsb, the dealer even said there was a tsb, but said that the tires are out of warranty and thus I have to buy new ones. seems kind of odd to me since there is a defect in the tire, I need help on this fast, am I wrong or right, who can I call at gm for help.

hmmm, the Pontiac Warranty booklet says on page 7 that tires are fully covered for the duraiton of the bumper-to-bumper warranty (except for wear). So if you're still under 3 years and 36,000 miles they should change them free of charge. They also mention that if they put new ones on these are still covered for the remainder of the warranty.

If your tires are making the scraping noise then they should replace atleast the front two tires under the warranty. I just got mine the day after thanxgiving, I would go to another dealer if I were you.
