View Full Version : How can i do a radiator flush myself?

Whats up guys? Well i own a 2001 GAGT1, and i had taken it to the shop to get a radiator flush for the winter and the guys were trying to charge me 120bucks; So i said forget it ill do it myself. So I need some help here guys. Can anyone give me the step to step to getting it done. Thanks alot

Try a search, it is simple there is a drain plug on the bottom drivers side. Once the coolant has stopped draining out then stick a garden hose into your overflow tank. You can use some of the radiator flush if you really want to, I didn't but my system wasn't that bad, anyways let the hose run through for a couple of minutes then add water and run the car for 5 min or so. Again drain the water and if your system was really bad then do it again, if not then close plug and begin adding your new DEX - Cool.
