My school's sports car club is putting on our 3rd annual car show to benefit charity on Sunday, December 4. We're in Melbourne, Florida, about 30 minutes from Orlando, an hour and a half from Tampa, I can give directions to anyone interested. We're going to have a mobile dyno, you get 2 pulls for $40, which is very cheap. It's only $5 to show your car and there are awards and trophies for different categories. And it's free if you just want to spectate. We're going to have some dealerships there to show their cars and possibly offer some test drives, and some local speed shops will be there to showcase their services. Our show is to benefit the Pandora Charity for victims of Gulf War Syndrome.

The drive really isn't that bad, maybe 1:45 and 130 miles each way, and it's the cheapest dyno run you'll find: $40 for 2 pulls.

The show turned out great, we were very surprised how many cars showed up, about 75-80 at the peak. The dyno went a little slow since it was their first time out with that particular style of dyno but everyone who wanted to run did. We had some very rare vehicles, including an all original Shelby Mustang GT350 Trans Am race car, made nearly 300 whp with a 302 cid V8. I will see about posting some pics to show. Jeremy (pyro) told me that Brad (SwiftDrift) managed to come out, thank you, and I appologize for not meeting you. We'll do this again next year about the same time, and if the trend continues, we'll have nearly double the turnout! I'll update on here with pics and stuf.

I finally got some pics up, these weren't taken by me and there are some more and better ones that I can't seem to get ahold of yet, I should've just taken my own pics, but oh well....Here's a link to my photobucket album: http://photobucket.com/albums/y112/dl8604/Car%20Show/

Some Highlights:

One of the world's first retractable hardtop convertibles, a Ford Fairlane Skyline:

This MR2 made about 210 rwhp and 200 rwtq on a turbo 1.8L, pretty good for such a light car:

Jeep guys are crazy:

Some of our members' cars, that's my black GA, the Teal Mustang on the left is a Procharger supercharged V6, 320 rwhp, and the Camaro on the right is also Procharged, LS1, should be about 800 rwhp, but hasn't been dynoed yet:

Some other highlights include a 650 rwhp Trans Am on nitrous, 420 rwhp without the bottle. An all original Shelby Mustang GT350 Trans Am race car with a ~300 rwhp 302cid V8, the owner went and raced it the following Wednesday We also had a 450 rwhp twin turbo 350Z and a 500 rwhp turbo Supra and a 280 rwhp supercharged S2000. We had several classics, some lowriders, some really sweet new domestics, including a C6 vetter, and some pretty cool imports.
