ok so i want to install some speedhut gauge cluster overlays and i need to get the plastic shroud off of the steering column. there were 3 torx 20 screws on the bottom and that just loosens it up. any help would be fantastic. also, any help with overlay installation would be so awesome. i will give you 8 dollars. :feedback:

The top cover will snap off. Get a knife or putty knife, slip it in between the top and bottom covers and gently pry until it comes off. It should not break on you. Now the bottom is screwed on there, and you got the screws out but you will probably not get it off the column. That column adjuster lever is in the way. Hope you can get to everything with just the top off or you can f^$% with the bottom to see if it will come off. Good luck, and I don't know about overlays so I guess no 8 dollars for me.

Yeah, you don't need to take off the steering column cover. You only have to take out the gauge cluster surround then take out the gauge cluster.
