CA Speedway Street Legals Jan. 14th

As described in the title. Same meeting place in Fontana at 6-6:30am and we'll head to the gates at 6:45am again.

For those of you that haven't been there before it'll be $20 to race and $10 to spectate.

We've had about 3-5 guys show up to every meet we've had in the last few months and would love to see some new faces!

Due to the fact I came across some extra money, I'll be there along with some family and friends. This is going to be the last time I go to race. If I ever decide to go in the future, it will be to watch.

I have the money I owe you Darren. So, when I see you Jan. 14, I'll give that to you. Also, since I helped Chris (White Grand Am GT) by lending out my stock rims so he can make it home (2 months ago) and I haven't gotten them back yet, NO MORE FAVORS like that anymore! I'm not too happy about this because now it's going to cost me a lot of time and money to replace those just in case I need them.

Anyway, just like Darren said, I hope to see some fresh new faces this time.

I have some good news and some bad news.

The good news is that I am still going to the Street Legals next weekend and I'm going to race! In fact, some of friends and family are going to come watch me!
This will be my last race for awhile.

The bad news is that I spent most of my money on food and gas and now I'm back to square one. This means that any money I owe people will have to be put on hold just a little longer. It's just that I'm not have a good few months of work and my paychecks haven't been what they should be lately, but things should pick right back up soon!

By the way, what does "Ttt" mean?

OH, and Chris need to show up so I can get my wheels back.

If you are coming from the 10 Fwy heading East, you're going to exit Cherry.
You're going to turn Left onto Cherry (and yes, you will be driving right past California Speedway on your left side) until you reach Baseline.
You're going to turn Right onto Baseline.
Turn Left on Beach.
You will see the park on your right side. You can't miss it unless your blind!

If you're coming from the 10 Fwy heading West, you're going to exit Citrus.
Turn Right onto Citrus.
Turn Left onto Baseline.
Turn Right onto Beach.
The park will be on your right side.

For those taking the 15 Fwy, all you have to do is exit Baseline no matter which direction you're coming from and head East on Baseline.
Turn Left onto Beach and you're there!
You too will see that park on your right side.

Anyway, there is a NEW park going up on Baseline called Almeria Park! That will be our new meeting place starting at the next street legals. You guys might want to drive by it to see where it's at. Anyway, we'll talk about it when we all meet up at our current park on Beech.

It doesn't take 15 min to get there and you remember what happened last time.

Odd. It's not supposed to rain on our side. Well, we'll play it by ear. I'm down to meet up in LB/LA area on Saturday. Whatever works for you guys...I have to go to Studio City/Burbank for most the weekend anyways.

Since the majority of people coming are from LA/LB is there anything in your area where you guys would want to meet up if the track was closed? Save us all the hassle of driving out there for nothing.

I have a great idea! Let's meet at the our usual park near my house in Fontana. Now, if it is rainning, we can always go to the LA Auto Show! We can hang out and I think that would be fun!

I just want to thank all those club members who showed up yesterday at the California Speedway. It seems we are getting more and more members to show up and that is a good thing.

We at least got to have 2 runs before it started rainning. On top of that, I beat my own time! My new 1/4 mile time is 15.839!:applause:

Anyway, pictures and videos were taken by some members. Hopefully, they'll be put up soon.
