I dropped the car off this morning for a couple of last minute things before my warranty runs dry.
Intake/Valve Cover gaskets, again. Apparently the first dealer that did them was dipping into the wacky weed before they got to my car. Did ask about the availability of updated GM gaskets. They did say they are using the new ones. (oldsmobile dealer doing it this time....)
Oil Pan gasket. I had a slight leak that I didn't even notice because of the VC gasket leak.
Some type of control arm in the steering. Don't remember exactly what but I believe it's the source of my front end "clunk." If it solves it, I'll post to let you guys know.
Heater return hose. Small coolant leak here.
Center console latch. Apparently they recalled them. I know the first thing on my mind during a high speed rollover is the console coming open..... :rolleyes: :tool: but hey, it's free! :thumbs:
They are doing a tranny service for me also.
All for 100 dollar deductible. Not a bad deal at 61k miles.....
Got a Ford focus as a rental. Ewww...... it is better than nothing.
