OK, well my parents were going to get me a remote starter for christmas. A local shop had it advertised for $150.00. When i call ed they said $249.99 because my car had some key lock 2 thing. What the hell is that anyway?

our cars have passlock 2 i believe, its a device thats used as a security measure, not sure how it works but i do konw that you have to bypass it for a remote started, they run from about 60-100 extra on the car start, which sounds right by what you mentioned

If you called my shop, i would quote you $230.00 installed with keyless and pl2. That is a code alarm prof50 remote start! If you want trunk release its $20 Exrta.
