Headlight problem

As the title states I have a problem with my headlights. I think this was covered before but I couldn't find the thread.

Anyways, at night when the headlights come on, the driver side headlight will go to a highbeam, the the passenger side will be normal. When I turn on the highbeams, only the passenger side lights up, and the driver side goes out.

Would this be a fuse? Or is there something messed up in the circuitry(sp?)?

It could be something simple like the wrong bulb in the drivers side light.

There was a post about headlights working backwards. The person put 9004 (IIRC) type bulbs in. The 99+ takes 9007 type bulbs. The bulbs fit but the wiring was backwards.

you need a new bulb. Our headlights are both high, and low beam bulbs.

I changed the bulbs when the problem first arose. Same thing occured. Driver side was highbeam, passenger side was low beam. Checked whatever fuses I could and everything seemed to be in order.

wiring problem? Maybe a shorted wire? Maybe !!
