In June 2004, FlowLighting launched its first product: Blaze - the 7-color LED underbody kit.
In late 2005, FlowLighting introduced cathodes, HID headlight kits, and 1-foot tubes/splitters for the Blaze.
Today, I am pleased to announce a new product that has been in development for quite some time: FlowLighting Inferno LED Underbody kit.

Main features:
- Million colors
- Multiple colors at a time on each tube
- 10 normal patterns
- 10 speeds for these normal patterns
- 10 music patterns
- A unique pause feature

Better than Blaze
- LOTS more colors
- More than 1 color at a time per tube - Looks very cool
- 10 speeds as opposed to Blaze's single speed big request from Blaze owners
- End caps are small and low profile - compared to Blaze's bulky caps
- 2 remotes are included - so you have an extra on hand incase you lose one or the dog chews it.
- Better mounting hardware (cable ties, cable tie mounts, and screws) - Inspired by the durable stuff Iceled uses. Unfortunately it is not as beefy as the Iceled hardware. I've heard a few reports from people who have the Inferno kit that the cable ties break easily in cold weather. I will be addressing this issue and will for sure improve the hardware even more on the next batch of kits in the next few months.
Here is a nice ORANGE color:

Similar to Blaze
- Remote is a similar style. It has different buttons.
- Remote display is exactly the same, and is the only interchangeable part with the Blaze kit.
- Wiring is similar in that the kit uses the same 8 connector cat-5 wire. Inferno tubes are NOT compatible with the Blaze controller ECU, and visa-versa. This was not an attempt to make everyone upgrade. It was technically impossible to make the tubes compatible with either system.
- Packaging is pretty much the same - Sturdy, plain cardboard box with parts easily laid out inside. Why spend $5 on a fancy label for the box? Would that really make things better for the customer? No. Would I be able to sell it for $5 more if it had a fancy label? No. Would it be more likely to be stolen in shipping if the contents were advertised to the shipping company? Yes. So, until FlowLighting is sold in retail stores, the plain box is beautiful.
- ECU looks pretty much the same - Although the electronics inside are different. Unfortunately it will not work with Blaze tubes. Only will work with Inferno tubes. Inferno 1 foot tubes/splitters are being designed and will be coming soon.
- Bright, shines far, colors look the way you expect them to
- 1 year warranty
What's coming next?
- Soon there will be Inferno 1 foot tubes/splitter boxes
- Memory, so that when you turn the kit off, it remembers which pattern/color/speed/etc it was on, and goes back there when you turn it back on. There will be a method to activate the "demo" mode, which right now comes on everytime the kit is turned on. Cost permitting, this will be on the next batch by summer.
- Even better mounting hardware
- Looking into other remote control options since the range on the thin remotes is not very good
- Some sort of light that is very BRIGHT, for wheel wells, engine bay, dash, seats, etc.
How you can help
- Give feedback - What you like, what you don't like, what you want to see.
- Share you enthusiasm with friends on other forums, people at school, people at car shows/hangouts, etc
- Pass out biz cards
- Offer to install something for free (plus a cold drink and pizza) if they buy it from Oznium
Support for FlowLighting has been tremendous. I am very grateful for this, and I thank you.
Some other points
It is complicated to figure out all of the modes the Inferno kit is capable of. The instructions that come with the kit should help a little, but just spend some time playing with it.
Take your time installing it, don't rush. Make sure to use aluminum "L beams" if the tubes are visible from the road. Route all wiring away from moving parts, EXHAUST lines, etc. Mount the ECU in a DRY location. NOT in the engine bay. Do not test on a 9 volt battery, test straight to your car battery. Make sure you look at the diagram that shows the direction of wires exiting the tubes - so the patterns match up they way they are intended.
--> Inferno is priced at $219.99 and is shipping immediately.
