Since we have to wait so long before the next street legals at California Speedway, I'm looking into the dragstrip at Irwindale Speedway.

1/8th mile dragstrip. You may as well run here at Qualcomm where it's $15 for unlimited runs. I got about 8 in an hour and a half last time. I'm not about to pay $20 at Irwindale for 3 runs.

I have some bad news everyone. I did something very stupid at work and now I'm in big trouble. I cannot say what happen, but the future doesn't look very bright right now.

Good news is that I got another job to hold me over until I find out what my fate is. So, it looks like I'll be going to the street legals in April afterall.

Well, here is an update. Since I did something stupid at work and things are not looking to good right now, I'm going to have to postpone my car upgrades for awhile until things get better. There's no telling how long this will take. I really like street racing and it would be ashame to give it all up now.

I guess the only thing I can do for now is come watch you guys race if I'm even lucky enough to do that much. I sure could use a winning lottery ticket right about now.

All I have to say is if I go, I go. If I don't, I don't.

I've been doing some thinking. If and when this situation passes and things get back on track, I'm going to just get turbo in my car, not a supercharger.

Problem is that I don't know where to get a turbo for my car. Any help would be nice.

2. You are SO not ready for boost. Period.

3. Did you not just tell us that you were having financial difficulties and wouldn't know if you could afford the $20 to race in April? Enlighten me because ~$3Gs+ to get boosted >>>>>> $20 for track entry fee. And if you say the word 'loan' in your explanation you are definitely getting a Darwin award from me this year...

Stick to the bolt ons. You do not have the know how or mechanical knowledge to install, maintain or upkeep either a turbo or an S/C. Neither are mods that you can just throw on and go.

So let me know how do you intend to pull this off. Do you ever read the performance section of this website? Do you know how much approximately the cost will be? What your hp goal will be?

You should do some research on the setups available for this car. Where to get a turbo, has already been answered. Let me make it easy for you. One of the sponsors on the website, or soon to be sponsor, makes a turbo kit. Do a search.

do a search... it's been covered, the place isn't reputable for ****... they tend to not give grand am owners their parts when they order it.. and the tuning ... well what tuning?

I know of a guy that can do a boosted setup for a 3.4 v6 if anybody is interested and actually has money, they want to actually spend to go fast.
