I bought a converter to make a trailer wire harness for my jet ski trailer.... does anybody know if the wires for the taillights are accessible through the interior of the car? I need to mount this module and I'm not sure if it can go outside of the car.... so I have to find a spot to tap the following wires:
Green Right Turn
Red Stop
Yellow Left Turn
Brown Tail
The last three wires are all connected and are seperate from the first so I would assume the wires I need to tap are primarily on the left and the only one I need on the right is the green...
any input would be helpful until I can go explore in my car. Thanks!:D

I'm not sure I understand 100%, but here's what I know. The taillight wiring is in the trunk, right next to the antenna. It's wrapped in electric tape. I think all the wires you'll need are right there. Hope this helps.

qwik99gt is right, When you open your trunk remove the carpet from around the sides of the trunk. Get a light tester and probe the wires accordingly, GM usually has a color coded wiring system that matches trailer wiring systems. When I wire a car I remove the taillights and probe them at thier root. The red, yellow and brown light will hook right on behind the left taillight via scotchlocks, the green wire must be ran to the right side of your car (hide it under the carpet) Hide you 3-->2 wire converter box somewhere behind the left taillight or where ever it does not interfear with the reasmbley of the carpet/light. Make sure you ground the wiring system, you can use a screw to ground the white wire or scotchlock the white wire to one of the existing ground wires behind the tailight. You can always find the existing ground wire because of its composition, it will be harder and tighter than the other wires and of course will have no power running through it... 99.9% of the time a GM ground wire will be black.....If you need help let me know.

thanks for the help... I will go look at the wires on the left and see if the colors match.... I looked at the right quickly and saw a few green, but I can always probe them to find out which one I need...
If I mount it on the inside, how can I get the end of the wires with the plug on it, through the car and outside?
I know there's a grommet below the light but will the end of the plug fit through it?

UPDATE:
After an hour and a half of work until 1:00am, it's all hooked up...
I did use a multimeter but with my experience, I still tapped some wrong wires... I found the right ones, mounted the module inside the car and ran the wires to the trailer through the grommet.... all I need now is the trailer hitch!!
Thanks everyone. :D
