Starting a second Heisman thread. Myself, being a Michigan fan, I can't be biased and say anyone from Michigan deserves the Heisman because no one on the team does. Before Saturday, it was a toss up to me with Carson Palmer edging out Dorsey just off his performance against ND that everyone saw and he has slightly better numbers. Well after Saturday, I say Willis McGahee hands down. 6 rushing TDs and 200 yards against V-Tech to lead them to the Fiesta Bowl should win it for him. When it comes down to it though, I think it'll be Dorsey which I can't argue with. McGahee will be back next year and it'll be his to win next year. Dorsey has had good numbers, not great but you can't argue with his 38-1 record as a starter. As much as it is supposed to go to the person who had the best season, I think it'll be awarded to him not only for what he's done this season and his whole career.

On another note, I can't wait to see the Orange Bowl, I think that'll be the best bowl game, Iowa vs USC should be an awesome game.

Yeah McGahee was awesome I agree. He is the best player on the team, but Dorsey also threw some nice passes to Andre Johnson. BTW, I'd have to say that with McGahee and Dorsey getting so much attention, Andre Johnson didn't get his fair share of the spotlight because he beat every defender consistantly all year long. And it showed the last 2 games, he got like 350 recieving yards the last 2 games.

Anyway, I think the Orange Bowl will be good too, but ever since they moved the actual game to Joe Robby Stadium (now Pro Player Stadium), it doesn't have the same feeling. If you notice, the announcers noted of the feeling you get seeing the palm trees and the hurricane warning flags in the background, along with downtown Miami's skyline. At Joe Robby Stadium, it is in the middle of nowhere and it is a sqaure fairly new stadium that doesn't have much of a feeling to it because it is used for pro ball mostly. I wish they never moved it, especially since it doesn't make sense to play the "Orange Bowl" in another stadium besides the Orange Bowl :(.

Fiesta Bowl here we come.
