In Tokyo. hehe :D
I live in Calgary but am in Tokyo on business right now. I don't drive a GA but I drive an Alero which is pretty much the same car. Done a ton of engine mods and hopefully will get it to the Dyno once I get back to Cowtown.
Saved Heads
Port N Polish
Performance Gasket
Ported upper & Lower
Ported TB (still waiting for my larger one from APofC)
MAF from a Vette
TOG Headers
Borla Exhaust
Better wires
better plugs
tranny cooler
better tanny fluid
Coming next will be either a 150shot of NOS or the Supercharger -- I haven't decided and I could use a tranny and lower end rebuild around the same time. Gaaaa more $$$$ into the car... but I think it is worth it -- I've got myself one hell of a **** eater.

I'm here, put just haven't posted a heck of a lot lately. I have a mishap with my car and hit the curb a while back, cost me 1400 to fix, and I still have a ****ty looking scraped up rim on. So I haven't been feeling that great about the car lately. So many problems and it is only 2 years old. I thought about selling it and getting something else, but I think I'm in to deep now. I may as well ride it out until it is paid off. I just hope my lucks turns around soon.

To name a few of my problems:
1. Lower Intake Gasket/Manifold Replaced; warranty
2. Power Steering Pump/Hoses Replaced; warranty
3. Passenger Door Ribs caught in door jamb one day when opened and bent to heck; warranty
4. Rotors Re-Surfaced/and probably soon to be replaced
5. Reverse Lights have water in them; warranty
6. Seatbelt Senser keeps malfunctioning even after being to the dealer twice for it; warranty
7. Torque Converter wire loose, causing hard shifts; warranty
8. Mirrors Fading; warranty (by now, sick of going to dealer every month)
9. Windows getting really deep scratches; warranty (don't want to lose tint though)
10. When I had the monsoon head unit, the volume knob was whacky and turned up when I turned it down sometimes; took it out and put an aftermarket head unit in
11. Leather on shifter is crap; warranty (but once not done, because I am sick of bringing car into the dealer)
It dissapoints me because I paid good money for a new car fully expecting to not have any major problems for quite some time. I surely didn't expect to have nearly as many problems as I did.
And I can't help but think that if the rotors/pads were a bit better I would have been able to avoid a few fender benders (I know it is mostly my fault, but I swear to god, when I had my first car, my 1982 Oldsmobile Delta 88, the brakes were better)
So I honestly don't know if I can buy another Grand AM in the future.. but we will see.
