This is also RETRO Active....... anyone currently owning a PT will be able to download a file to fully unlock the 98-02 for their respective engine

for instance if you unlock the 3400 it will be able to program GT/sE/alero/malibu/whatever has the 3400

the A/D will allow a wideband to be hooked up and record data along with the normal scanning

:wow: I knew the PT was money well spent. This just makes it even better. There had been hints that something big was coming. But I never imagined this!

Could you add the Wideband option after you bought the Powertuner (as an upgrade)? It seems like something I'd like to have later, but couldn't afford now. Thanks,

Harv

Yes, but you would likely have to send the cable back in for the A/D upgrade. That's what I did.

No V8 stuff yet. But some large changes are supposed to be coming soon. Which upgrades are you looking for?

the a/d cable and additional licences

The a/d isn't a cable, it's an output thats on the side of the PT interface unit. It's built into the PT. If you didn't order it with the a/d, it has to be sent back to have it added.

Additional licenses are purchased directly thru DHP via paypal. I just bought additional support for my '97 GP daily driver. FYI adding a vehicle is currently $159. Best way to contact them is probably to submit a ticket thru the help desk here. http://digitalhorsepower.corphelp.net/

o ok well tejohnson had posted that it was on the cable i thought, but i direct is better than third party stuff. sounds good to me though

still waiting on my registration to go through for my pt

The interface is a box in the middle of the cable that goes between your laptop and the OBD port on your car. The cable and interface is the hardware, the laptop handles the software. The a/d port is located on the side of the interface that's in the cable. :) You take three wires from whatever analog output source you are using (like wideband O2 signal) and put them into the the sockets in the a/d port and tighten the screws down and it converts the signal to digital so you can log it with the PT.

yah i have the PT just got it yesterday, and would have ordered it with the a/d option had i known about it. so you can use more than 1 input other than what the PT offers to scan with then...nice.

On your PT. Does it have a green connector on the side?

gectek

That sucks. Sometimes they give that option out for free.
