Looks like a good investment for those that are running forced induction

Hmmm ... i - n - t - e - r - e - s - t - i - n - g ... I especially love the part in the FAQ's about how they recommend using Antifreeze. YIKES!

not antifreeze, washer fluid. (The blue stuff?? Or the red stuff?)

Yes you can use washer fluid. I have read about a lot of people who convert their washer fluid reservoir to work with the injection system. That was it can run the injection system and through the windshield nozzles

I've heard a lot of people talk about alcohol injection accompanied with high boost... its definately interesting... I'll have to do some more research.

rally cars have been using this idea for quite a long time.

Propane is another method some racers use under boost. Or, intercool it and get the NX NterCooler kit!
It is a ring that has pinholes in it that bolts in front of the intercooler. You fill the bottle with either CO2 or N2O then push the button! The cold gas passes through the intercooler vanes and supercools the intake air. Sweet setup!

Sorry.. iwouldnever put propane near an engine. I don't unserstand how propane would work. Isn't that really flammable
I can see Hank hill right now "i now sell propane and propane car assecories" lol

Basically, it is used just like an auxillary fuel injector, but instead of injecting gas, you inject propane. Not only does it provide extra fuel, but it cools the intake charge, i.e. more dense.

Wow never heard of that. Learn something new every day

A handfull of the GTP guys run water injection on their blown 3.8's to help cool the intake air charge. Mike Dye in Rockford has a "Barbie hot tub" in the trunk of his GTP (small cooler) to put his cold water. Others tap into the washer fluid tank and go from there. Anything to help reduce knock

Mike's "hot tub" is for his Thrasher intecooler though, not water injection. I believe Paul J (Mithelin) was experimenting with Aquamist water injection - it really didn't produce a ton of additional power on his car, but it did reduce knock - the car was remarkably consistent on the chassis dyno.

I'm not sure how this would work on a gasoline-burning engine, but propane-injection works wonders on turbo-diesels.
