That is up to you guys. We have had 2 meets.. 2 years ago we went to a park but it was during Jan or so and it was pretty cold. We all just hung out and went to McD's to eat..

Last summer we went to Galveston and took a grill and had a good bbq..

This year??? Guess it depends where we have the meet.

For most of yall It is about a 2 to 2 1/2 hr drive. But that really depends on your driving style!!! I can get numbers and get campsite info for everyone if that is something that yall want to do, a couple of days on the river is worth the drive!! If you havent been there and you go, you will definately be back!!! Throw the idea around lets see who all may want to go, and I will get some info in the meantime. Last time I went with a group I think I ended up payin somewhere near 20.00 for my part of the space, we had two campsites not 3 mins from the river. Its a great way to enjoy the weekend and unlike galveston you can swim without fear of the unknown!!! Oh yeah and the scenery is not bad at all either, if yall know what I mean!!

the river sounds cool, but with gas as high as it iz, i would rather throw that 40 bux in to a grip of grub and brew, 30-40$ x's about 5-6 'ish is 150 min, thats a gang of eatz and drinkz, i got the pad here in houston, we could always have a kickback here, - just throwing a option and making the crib available, for those who would rather chill and kick it then drive .. so ya keep me posted, laterzzzz

Water did get into my car but that is because of some bad weather strips :( had about 1" of water on the back seat floor panels :( Car smells like old water and hope to get some stuff to clean it soon.

we have been havins ome bad rains here as well, and the parking lot of my apt complex i live in for college floods easily...so i have been having a lot of problems with flooding also...have some stains in my back now due to flooding...so now i got some serious cleaning...i always wanted to re-carpet my interior anyway...i guess this was a sign to get that done next...

Sorry I couldnt make it today I've been riding the Hershey River for the last 4 days ;crap . Some kinda stomach bug. I just talked to my homeboy on LS1tech.com he want to try to do somthin joint about the end of August. I dont know when yall go back to school but if yall can come up with a date where going to try to get somthing in stone in a couple of weeks. Again my bad about missing this weekend been real messd up.
