Could the DHP PowerTuner save me gas if I have the fuel tables changed at idle RPM's??? When I sit at a stop light My Long Term fuel trim starts ticking -3,-5,-7,-9,-12,-15 at times usually when its a warm evening. At 650 RPMs I'm well below normal driving RPM's.. Could the Power tuner help besides the potential power gains??

It depends on how you tune it. Although the factory program is already made for good mileage and emmissions, every car is slightly different and I'm sure you could improve the program slightly for more mileage. On the other hand, you can't make it faster too. It's one or the other. If you tune it for power, you're going to lose gas mileage, you can't have both.

I am going to say yes that it can save you gas. With negitive LTFT's the car seems to be running rich. Have any changes been made to the PCM or is it the stock tune?
What mods do you have?
I would start with the VE tables and then smooth things out with the MAF table.

Yes. A procedure is outlined in the tuner guide just for this. Mainly you up the closed loop AFR and low rpm timing. But you have to have your trims in line first with no KR. That includes at idle. But to get the guide you need a PT.
