power window plastic clips

Hi everyone

The little plastic clips that attach the window to the tracks have broken and I'm trying to replace them but I haveing a problem with clips. I'm working on the driver's side on a two door 2000 Grand am gt.

I read that you need part #22697623 and #22697622 these are the numbers for the clips to fix the door and now I'm hearing that you just need two of the same number to fix one side.


Also How does the clip attach to the widow track itself .... really I need a overall directions for the install I already have the door panel off

they're these pathetic plastic clips, one is the front towards the motor, and the other is away from that.

the cables have a ball that pops into the clip if I recall, then you have to basically snap the clip onto the metal guide in the assembly.

the clip has a notch that kind of locks it on

what he said, also lube the tracks. Do be cheap on the lube either, I think the the only thing that saved my pass. window.

What about parts numbers 22697623 and #22697622 will they work on the same door like 22697623 for the front clip and 22697622 for the rear .... or does it work like 22697623 for both clips for the driverside ???

I'll be doing this when my car returns from the bodyshop with the two different part numbers for the front drivers side. I'll post how it goes.

heres a few of the things i was told to get. if you get the full package, then you dont need the epoxy. The epoxy is if your just doing the sashes.
