2001 Blazer System Help

Alright, i asked a few guys about getting subs for my girlfriends car a while back, but i forgot to say that i have a hookup for Rockford Fosgate stuff thats why i suggested it. Anyways, how would a Punch 450S amp with a 12inch HE2 Sub sound? Is it too much power or too little, the HE2 handles 1-400, and 800 peak. But they are way under rated so im sure it should handle 450 no problem. Anyways, audio guys, how will this sound? A single 12 in a Blazer. Also would i need a cap or no, and the radio is a Pioneer 6400. Thanks guys!

i hate rockford fosgate stuff with a passion esp their amps that you can cook breakfast on. Stay clear of that junk. The sub wouldnt be too bad its definately not the best but id stay away from rockford amps by all means, they blow. Ive delt with them too many times before hooked one up to a system it lowered it 4 Db hooked his old amp (JL) back up and what do you know he gained his 4 db back. The JL amp was a few hundred less watts too.

I didnt know fosgate made bad subs these days, I thought they did respectable work?

I happen to love their stuff, i have a system in my car, and i know my ****, im just wondering how it would sound in a blazer. I have over 2k in Audio stuff but that was with my Bestbuy discount and while i was an installer. Anyways like i said, i get killer deals on them, and was just wondering if anyone had any ideas about the way it would sound in a blazer, and btw they make great amps, and subs, you may have been using their cheaper products but the HE2 and HX series are pretty good.
