Hey. i am new to this forum. I have been eyeing two alero's at the track (Bandimere Speedway, Colorado) and I finally talked to them. One said he was on here. I thought I was onthsi forum, but it was actually another. So I am here!

I actually have a corsica with the 3100sfi. But am thinking of doing a 3400 swapage with a superCharger. So I am here to research ans stuff. And to find this guy with the grey Alero to tell him I have some vids of him....

Glad to be here!!

Sleepers rock. Bigger the surprise, when you blow some unsuspecting moron out of the water, the better.

ok... so on the milzy site... in the customer car section there is a 98 Lumina with the 3100 in it. They put the stage 2 heads and stage 2 cam in it. if i was to do that in my car, which is a 3100 too, am i looking at the same hp as that Lumina? It is a 183hp after that work. As of right now I have about 165 to 170 hp... so i would be looking at a gain of 15hp for the price of 3 grand? or would my car get more hp?

Sorry for the dumb question...

he has 183 to the wheels IIRC ... when you say you have 165 to 170 i believe you're speaking of crank hp. huge difference

ok... i see... so i have 170 at the flywheel or crank? so i actually have less at the wheels...so that would be a gain of more then 15hp... about how much???

and isnt your car on there... I have seen your screen name before

Measured at the crank or flywheel is the same thing. Given 165-170 at the crank on your car general drivetrain loss is about 15%-20% to the wheels. I believe that's around 140-150ish but I'm too lazy to actually do math right now.
