i bought the $20 a peice fog lights a few months ago. well i noticed it didnt have fog lights on saterday. of course i did what we all do, and checked the fuse. it was fine. i could hear the relay switching on and off. so there was only 1 more thing to check. sure enough, the bulbs were out in a matter of months. i was really surpised at that. i dont do a lot of night driving but i do do some. has anyone else had this problem with these? i had my car for over a year with the same fogs and never replaced them both.

theres like a jillion threads about it, none has ever had success with them. Just buy some 55 watters for them and your golden, i used them and never had any issues with heat.

Did you touch the bulb?

would touching the bulb make a difference on those? i thought that only applied to certain bulbs.

yes, it does apply to fog light bulbs. Most mini bulbs (turn signals, brakes, etc.) are not affected, but headlights and fog lights are the main two to be careful with. Everything else isn't a problem.

Even if you didnt touch them the smallest amount of dirt or greese or anything will kill it.

it killed both of them at the same time. and they were installed at the same time. what are the chances of both of them going out at the same time other then, they dont last long.
