i was thinking about buying a Flowmaster 80 series 2.5in/dual 2.5 out for my 99 GAGT with the v6 3.4l.......does anyone have flowmaster on their car???? does it sound very good????? can you just weld the flowmaster muffler where the existing muffler is?????? anyone that knows anything please let me know

Rather than a bunch of people telling you to search(even though you should normally search BEFORE you post) I'll answer it.


Yes you can put a flowmaster 80 series exhaust on. I have it on my car. It takes place of the stock muffler, but is less restrictive, and gives it a little bit of sound. It's a lot quiter inside the car than outside. Also, if you're getting a muffler put on, save up and get a full cat-back exhaust system. You won't notice any significant gain in power with just the muffler (and if you do, chances are it's in your head.) If I were you I'd search/look around the forum to see what other people have done.

It never hurts to be educated on what you're about to buy.
