i hear they suck and the sidewalls arent stiff

go with a continental tire! (actually don't, i dont think we make any decent tires)

hey Alex, have you rode on these tires?

I dont know who you are hearing things from, but I have put on probably three sets of these tires, in the last three weeks, and people love them.

I did a Ride and Drive for Goodyear last year at the Silver Dome and on wet pavement compared to the Michelin tires in a Audi TT, The ass end of the car was kicking out hard with the Michelins and with the Goodyears they were huggin the pavement.

But the one thing is, what are they using these tires for?

Yea, i guess the audience I'm getting this from is a little off, since the subie community starts off with potenza re070's (yea THOSE again)

Anyway, theres no tire you can buy on today's market with equal sidewall stiffness, and usually the subie folks can hardly find real good stock replacements

but we both know it doesnt matter to people who own grand ams, becasue they buy whatever is cheapest. And who can blame em

Alot of people I am sure refuse to believe that these COULD be good tires regardless of what people say. If people said that Kumho or something won the test everyone would say "Oh I can see that..I have heard those are great!"

These tires are specifically designed for sport touring cars kind of like the Falken FK-451s I have on my car....a great compromise between sport and luxo handling.

Oh yeah..having said that..does anyone realize that Kumho is a KOREAN company. So many people assume its a Japanese company.....it's NOT.

I just wanted to thank everyone for their info/opinions on my thread...I will be going with 16" rims and most likely the Goodyear F1 GS-D3 tires...Once I actually have them on the car, I'll post pics...:woot:

Let us know...I've been very happy with mine, and I've been running them since they were introduced (about 2 years now).
