Hey everyone I'm Cam and I'm the proud young owner of this 02 GT I got a great deal on it and it's really a GREAT car IMO. I have had it for about a month now. No complaints at all. Just glad to know I worked hard to get a car myself being young I learned ALOT of making payments Insurence OWNS me! I was riding the bus for a good amount of time and watched kids in this new town pull out of school in Benzs, Lexus's and their own personal rides. As soon as I got my license I had the money to go car shopping and saw this car in thr front yard of an log cabin style house. I go and look at it to see the owner was about 45 and was selling because he bought a vette and diden't need a third car. And he was a great guy let me drive it for a while even got me a free wash from a freind of his that owns a car wash.

I managed to get some cash together for some tint lol yea as you can tell beacause of may age it's limited. I'm trying to put together a system of some kind soon but anyway heres my GT :)

Thanks for reading and Enjoy!

looks great man, save your cash and mod wisely. COngrats on savin for the car yourself at 16, sounds like my story too, bought my GA in 2004, about 6 months after my 16th birthday, im almost 19 now, and its still running strong. Youll enjoy the car trust me, i still like mine, just keep it clean and simple, those are the best looking ones

Looking good man! Now just remember how much you paid for it everytime you see your friends doing something stupid in their cars. You'll take a lot more pride in paying for this one yourself than they will in those cars their parents bought them. Take good care of it and it will last you all the way through college.

ANd since you're low on cash (aren't we all???) I'd recommend not getting too carried away with the modding just yet. For some cheap mods go ahead and remove those badges and that pinstripe and you'll be looking sweet without spending alot of cash. Just make sure you do a good job removing them so that you don't hurt your paintjob. There are good instructions on this site to help with that. Enjoy your GAGT as much as I enjoy mine!

haha. I saw an Alero the other day I was just thinking about how much different my friends would have respoded if I had told them I bought an alero instead of a grand am. I mean, we all know that they are essentially the same car, they just look a little different. I don't konw if it's just me but as soon as I think Oldsmobile I think old person, my gramma DOES have a Oldmobile, and when I hear pontiac I think GTO. Who knows, I could have the same performance as my GA and waaay less cool factor.

not that the cool factor is super high with a grand am SE to begin with

The tint looks great...and again, what % is it? By the looks of it, the car was kept in very good condition. How many miles are on it?

very nice car, and do me a favor, keep that engine as clean as it is right now! its hard to keep it clean once it gets dirty, and clean engines are teh sex.

and i agree blake, its gotta be mid to high 20's on that there tint %...definitely darker than a 30% but seems a tad lighter than 25%
