A couple days back me and Marvin got together to wash our cars... here's a few random pics of the aftermath. The blue SE is mine and the silver SC/T belongs to him. Hope you enjoy these.

Nice rides my man. I would say that you guys need wheels but I can't really talk seeing as I'm on the hidious steel stockers.

I love clean cars. Props for the Silver GA and props for the SE...together they would make a great car...;)

I (being Marvin) actually really like the chrometechs and I think they look really good on my car...if they came in an 18" version, I'd probably be completely satisfied with that...however, when the time arises (performance mods take precedence over aesthetics) I will probably go with some black powder coated rims with a polished lip...I love the way they look in motion...Thanks for the positive comments, though. Steve (with the blue SE) is the one who inspired me to get my GT.

I'm sad you left out my favorite picture though, steve:

I was just bustin his balls. Im critical about paint.
I just noticed that the SE is in some seriuos need of paint correction.

By no means do i have anywhere near the nicest ga.

Yeah, I do need to take better care of the paint. I'm planning on getting it repainted soon. I was gonna do an SE-GT conversion and eventually get the SC/T kit. Speaking of which has anyone ever seen a navy blue GT?

first thing i noticed. and me thinks that either the wax was skipped or it was the cheap stuff, no offense, but it just doesn't look waxed from where i'm sitting.

btw, as far as wheels go, some aftermarket ones are more than just appearance mods, they will weight less than stockers and thus add to performance by making the car just that much lighter. even if it isn't too much weight shaved, every bit counts.

Yeah, we skipped the wax. Didnt have the time for it...

the Se stands out to me because my interior is painted like that, you have a bit more done then me but same idea.

If thats your goal painting them black would be best, you just dont wanna draw attention to drums.

since king sik is being a douche, it means "for teh win" basically translates to "this is the best" or somewhere along those lines.

No such thing in reality.
Whats most important is your prep work.
Its 90% prep and 10% wax.

Ok... I guess I'm just bad at this whole thing. So what steps do you take in your 'prep work'? I have no idea what to do. All I know to do is rinse, wash, dry.

Here read through this site to get ya started. It lays everything out in lamens terms.

http://www.paintcare-n-detailing.com/

After you read through that site go to autopia.org and do some searching on products you might like or wanna try. Its all a big learning process.
