i searched both problems ( nothing ) 1998 ga se 3.1 v6 coupe ... about last 6 months, anytype of wheather always when stopped. never no when it will do it. after driving it a few feet or a few miles . just starting it in driveway before leaving . never when moving. i can start / drive / stop / park many times in a day and it might do it once or twice maybe etc
i had my brakes cleaned and inspected month ago. front pads about haft worn down maybe more. everything esle pretty good or better. it will click quickly in a row 3 or 4 or maybe smig more click click click. the fronts and back brakes 1-1/2 to 2 years ago all new munroe parts. cailper/pads/shoes / rotors /drums . had car 3 years . bought at 150,000 klms now with 216,000
sounds like the abs click i had when i had that front drive asle replaced. but it's not that problem this time. seems to sound from the passenger side ??? and maybe the back???
not paid enough attention to were it's coming from yet. braking feels good. no . lights on .
something esle werid seems to be cold or wet days or both. sitting in drive way start the car touch the brakes once it grips big time then lets go but you do not appear to have much braking power at that instant . in 2 or 3 good touches of brakes in a few feet it's gone . it will grip / haul the ass of the car down making a usuall hard braking grip noise. then gone for days or weeks etc .
only to return on those cold / wet days. almost like you have no brakes for seconds the they are back again. . for the most part it will not do it more then one time in a day it does it.
also did it with what ever brakes were on the car before too. do not notice this problem with my 2000 gagt.
