4th window regulator in a week........

So yea last friday my stock(factory) driver side regulator breaks....go to the junkyard the next morning and get a "new one" the guys tell me. Turns out it wasnt...breaks a day later same problem....Cable gets bound up in the motor....Go backa couple days later and get a new one,it was for real this time....Installed worked great for two days...go to work this morning and the window broke yet again.... Same thing.the cable came off and got bound up in the motor....NOW im on my4th one. IM praying to GOD this one doesnt break. Believe it or not ive only had to pay once...the idiots at the junkyard realize what a stupid problem this is...:postal:

after installing your not suppost to use the window for a full day for the clips to dry to the glue.........if you used new clips......even after new motors please let sit with no movement

I did...........the stuff i used for the adhesive was a plastic/glass weld its called. Plus the mechanics said its still not suppose to do what it did...

your car is starting to sound like mine, put the new regulator in and I had my car sit for 6 days, got in it today to get some gas and nope, no workie, it was brand new from the parts store, I hope to god they warranty it, it was the first time I tried to put it down, broke the clips and the wires got binded up on the motor, nothing I touched or could have messed up in the install. grrrr, o'well, I guess I will see what happens.

yea the guys told me there no way you can screw it up putting it in. And i was like like yea duhhh, its just the damn cable keeps getting chewed up in the motor some how....sooo im rarely gonna use that window now.i mean it tore up all my tint too
