Alright, I have already read the following threads:

Power Window Regulator clip part numbers

HOW-TO Replace Regulator

But at the end of the first thread, I have asked the samae questions twice with no answer. PLEASE someone help me with this. I need to replace my regulator clips and I do not knwo which part to order.

22697622 AND 22697623 both have the same description for them, the only difference listed on the GM Parts Direct website is that the 22697623 on is a little more expensive. Now, I am guessing that the only difference is that one is for the driver side and the other is the passenger side. BUT, which one is which?

Please, I have needed this part for abotu a week now, and don't want to order the wrong part.

Thanks in advance

PS - I don't know why, but everytime I try to post the second link, it sends you to the first one. I check under edit and it lists the address as being the correct one, but I don't know what's going wrong.

The correct address for the HOW-TO guide is:

Maybe one is drivers side and the other is passenger???

IMO its better to just buy an aftermarket regulator for around $60 on ebay. You need to remove the regulator anyway to put the new clips on.

Ah, I though all the regulators were like $150+ That would work, still though I would rather go for the cheaper alternative and get the clip only.

I am looking at the broken plastic pieces from my 99 coupe driver's side door and they are both the same. I believe they are both 22697622. The passenger side uses two 22697623 and they are slightly more expensive. I have not found anyone that can get me a deal on the factory plastic pieces from a local dealer, so i will probably buy a aftermarket regulator Ebay. The dealer wanted $32 plus tax for a 22697622. The cheapest one for a coupe is $40 + $15 shipping and it looks like it is built pretty decent. The company makes them for a lot of vehicles so i would hope they are built alright.

Just get the regulator. Trust me, its better for you in the long run. I've replaced 3 of those freakin' things in my car. All but the passenger rear have gone up.

Average price is about $85. You can get em cheaper if you look around.

I bought this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT
for $40 plus $15 shipping from MakotoAutoTrends. The material thicknesses all measured the same as the original regulator and it is built almost identically. I took a picture of them side by side and the original is on the left.

Mine must have shipped within a couple days but it was over a holiday so it took a little longer to get here. It shipped from California and the place sent a UPS ground tracking number.
