I was wanting to get new plugs for my grand am ...Well E3 has the diamond fire tech. plug out right now that I can get specifically for grand am gt 3400 motor , but I wanted to make sure it isn't going to hurt my pistons with it being a much hotter plug... Nology also makes one to for grand am 3400 also ... If someone can help me out with this Id appreciate it....

Is that a stock plug you are referring too??? I would like a performance plug but like I allready mentioned Was wonderi ng if e3 plug would be to hot for the pistons ,, or if you had any suggestions on other high performance plug????

You don't need a high performance plug. Stick to the stockers. Best ones for em.

unless you have some serious mods stick to the delco's. They give the car a smoother idle.

My car is "slightly" more modified than yours, and I run $2 plugs with no problems. There is no need for a $6-$10 plug on a stock car.

Run stock Delcos or use a $10 set of NGK copper cores in the stock heat range. You'll have no problems and get all the performance you need.
