Where is the wear on your tires? Is it a toe or camber problem?

could be a tie rod problem as well...i have the same issue with the vibration at speed over 55. either the bushing are worn out or you could have hit something during the winter

Worn struts or springs could cause uneven wear also ( cupping ) The noises could be strut mounts .

Could also be a worn ball joint or tie rod end. Any competent mechanic at a dealership should be able to check those for play and obvious signs of wear though. It really shouldn't be that hard to diagnos. Just take it to some place reputable and used to working on domestics, or better yet a pontiac dealer where they are very familiar with common problems on your specific car. ;)

Yeah, I can't stress the dealer enough. They deal with our cars day in and day out. They will generally know more than your average mechanic.

i brought in my car three times for noise in my front suspension. it creaked when i went over bumps or any sort. the first time: new strut mount, second time: new strut seats, third time: "we dont know, bring it back monday" so if you figure it out, let me know!!

Well now my car is acting up.
I def know the tie rod end bushing need changing.
Front tires are shot, which means alignment is gone. also steering wheel is tiltes to the right.
So im guessing buying parts off www.gmpartsdirect.com is the best choice for the buck, but i need to know the part #'s dont I.
So does anyone know the part #'s to a
Tie rod bushings
Control arm
And right strut. probably both
