Ok i have a cai and exhaust and it sounds pretty loud, but i want to sound louder. Is their anything i can buy that i can put on to make my car sound louder. No, i dont wanna drill holes into my muffler or pipes. I just want to sound a little bit more louder then i am now. Any help would be appreciated.

how would i take it off and dont i need to replace it with some sort of piping?

That will be good if you are removing any part of your exhaust such as the resonator. You install that pre muffler and when you open the valve the exhaust gas scavenges out of that opening rather than the rest of the exhaust piping and it is like having an open exhaust

yes just have them cut it off on either side and weld a piece of pipe in place of it

then you could add this mod to your exhaust

cool, thanks guys, do you know how much they will cost me to do this and is it really worth it. I mean will i notice a better difference if i already have a cai and exhaust. And one more thing, does it harm anything or will i have any long term consequences.

shouldnt cost u much at all...just enough labor time to chop off and weld about a 10" piece of pipe were ur resinator was...and all the resinator does is muffle ur muffler even more...just frees up the exhaust more

will it take the place of the magnaflow muffler i have. Meaning will it still sound like i have the mag flows on or will it sound completely different.

Didn't know if you were set on "not" cutting your exhaust, but I did get an electronic cut-out this week and it is GREAT!!! I did notice a slight increase in pick up on low end... but mostly on top end. If you are interested (not sure so I won't talk anymore...), I did a post with more information on the electronic cut-out under
All Go (performance mods)... The subject is Got exhaust cutout!!! maybe on second page or so...

i havent heard of anyone doing this before, but im sure that it would make the exhaust A LOT louder. install a glasspack right before the muffler. i dont know exactly what the outcome would be, but it would definitely be interesting! any other ideas? dont make fun of my concept drawing! no one point and call me names!
contract pending... :D
