I am looking for a pontiac dealer online where I can get some OEM original key blanks for my 00GAGT...ideally someone that could cut me 1 if I provide the VIN on my car...if not, I could take them to a locksmith I am sure.

I just dont want a generic key blank...

You should have a hard time finding that.

That would mean:
I could record your VIN # from your windsheild & get a place to make a key for your car.


There was a email going around recently:
Warning people to block there VIN # on their windshield to prevent just this.

If you can just buy OEM key blanks, what's to keep you or someone else from cutting their own keys to someone elses car? Would a dealer sell you just the blank? I'd hope not.

Wow, that's nice. It only takes about 10 minutes to use a blank and a file to cut a new key to most cars.

as far as i know.. you can get the keys made at the dealer for around 10 bucks (they have the correct blanks for our cars)

OEM key blanks are the least of your worries when it comes to getting keys for other peoples cars...check this out:

Yeah, I know all about those tools, I have a buddy who used to be a locksmith. N ice to see that stuff open to the public huh?
