Instrument Panel Lights

Hey guys, I just had a few questions about some of our instrument lights (kinda stupid questions, so please bear with me :D ):

1) What is the difference between the SES and SVS lights? I know what they stand for, just thought they meant the same thing.

2) What's the five 'tick' mark lights on the outside of the 110-150 mph range for? Are they just to say "Hey, you're haulin ass"?

I also just noticed the other day that there's a Shift Up light on there, lol
Thought that was kinda cool
