For those of you who removed those "Warning" stickers on the sun visors, I'm wondering if motor vehicle will fail you if you have them removed. My buddy was failed, but went back the next day with them still not there and passed. That's why I'm asking. A couple other members are also curious about this.

Thanks

Hm, not sure but I believe you'll get some decent HP gains without them :)

You just answered your own question. But keep in mind, those warnings were put there for a reason... kinda like seatbelts. Airbags can be deadly and a LOT of parents need the reminders... even celebrities like Britney Spears.

Its not written in any state inspection code that I know of around here. They can't fail you just for the warning stickers. If they do, then their trying to rip you off.

I can honestly say I would never think of failing someone because those were removed, and I've failed people for ALOT of things...

I dont know anything about isnpections since my state has none of any kind but it seems to me that all inspections really do is screw people.

Inspections do screw people. I'm just asking cuz i live in DE, one of the strictist driving states in the USA.

Not really. You would be surprised at what people think is safe on a car. Especially when zero maintenance other than oil changes has been done to it.

Michigan has no inspections at all and we have no more accidents than states that have inspections. Its a big scam to suck even more money out of hardworking americans.

I take it you have a link that backs up that quote.

There ya go.
I looked at Texas becuase i know they have very strict inspections and michigan has about a 1/4 of the fatalities they do.

Compare the number of fatalities and "2000 Economic Cost of Motor Vehicle Traffic Crashes" figures between Michigan and Virginia. The population of each state are a little more equal. Texas' population skews the results.

Yeah, but check the rate per 100K of population.... Michigan is lower than both Texas and Virginia.
