I know that some of you have a PCM with the whole skip shifting, what exactly is skip shifting.

I was wondering the same thing .. I have done alot of diff. things to cars but alot of this stuff on here I have never done or even heard of .

Say you are cruising in overdrive.. and you floor it, at a speed where a stock calibration would downshift to 3rd, or from 4th-3rd-2nd .. "skip-shift" goes from 4th straight to second.. or also, 3rd to first, depending on a few things

Well it doesn't go straight from 3 to 1 or 4 to 2. It does shift into the other gears, but it makes the transmission do it really fast.

I have found that changing the Torque Converter (TCC) lock up point really makes a big difference. Instead of it locking in third gear, mine is set to lock up after hitting 47 mph in fourth. The car no longer lugs at 40 mph like it used too.
