ok so i got this idea from my girlfriends saturn. In her car there is a switch by the gear selector and option 1 is "Norm" and option 2 is "Perf". While switching it to perf doesn't do a whole lot but you can tell the the shift points are raised. But I was thinking, would there be a way to run 2 programs that you could switch between, say DHP and stock?

I am currently looking around the n2o department and learned that you can't have the DHP because the advanced timing wont like the nitrous. so if i'm driving around town with no nitrous on board i could switch it to DHP mode and when i hit the track with the n2o hooked up i could switch it back.

i know that someone will bring up changing the timing with the hptuner or an ICCU but i haven't done too much reading on those.. the switch in the saturn just seems like a more 'on the fly' way to change it

Well the question is, how much work are you willing to put forward?

I believe for this you would need an extra wiring harness, or atleast some sort of crazy adapter Y'd out with im guessing a set of relays and a switch to make it all work.

For the cost, you would be better with the ICCU. DHP tune, but then you can pull the timing for the nitrous.

Not feasible at all. The wiring alone would be a nightmare, not to mention isolating each PCM would require putting a relay on every single wire.

But, keep an eye out for some new goodies. Something along this route just may be coming out. ;)

If I knew the specifics I would say so. Only Charles knows for sure.

when the 3800 was swapped into the grand am, i think the guy's from nebraska info should come up on a search, he ran two pcm's side by side iirc, but it was a nightmare getting them to work together.
