View Full Version : Rear Break Convertion for a GA/SE

All wright. Saturday I went to my local junk yard and got me all the parts needed to convert my rear drum break to calipers. This is the best modification I have done to my car. The performance on the breaks is 100% better. I reccomend this mofication to all the GA/SE owners.

What did it end up costing for all the parts you needed?

$120 for everything at a local junk yard. The pads where good so I still have pads for a couple of miles. They had some rust but nothing a resurfecing the disk and some red paint on the calipers couldn't fix.
