3400 cyl. heads? 99 Different than 00-04?

Just wondering, I believe I read before that the cylinder heads from a 99 3400 are different than 00-04 3400 cyl. heads? Is this true and if so do you know whats different? I know some stuff changed over the years just not what;crap
