Strut Bar?

Hey all, a lot of people have been telling me about the strut bars. I am kind of new to modding my GA, but would like to do some basics now and some more serious later. What is the big deal with them? I don't drive crazy/race so I dont think I need one, but he has one that i can get really cheap that came off his GA. would it help me in any way at all? It is almost like this, front and rear..

I just bought a rear from that company. I have a front and it basically stiifens up the suspension and doesnt make the car feel like its gonna roll as much. It helps good for me when taking like taking roundabout exits on the highway.
