Recently I bought a set of front and rear d/s rotors from a member here. The rotors aren't looking too good. so I was wondering is it alright to use a sander on them to clean it up a bit... I'll post pics in a minute to show you what they look like. Thanks for the responses.

Sanding or wire brush shouldn't be a problem. Don't use any WD40 or wax on the braking surface.

I painted the center part on mine.

If you planning to install the rotors your self you can take them to any brake shop and ask them to re-surface the rotors, that should be around $10 per rotor. You can sand the center part of the rotors. Like TENSPED say dont apply any type of oil or wax on the braking surface.

really? for that price i might as well just have them resurface them. Thanks again for the responses
