I know people ask all the time if rims will fit and I did a search and couldn't find anything about these rims, so wanted to see what you thought. I found these on Tire Rack by looking for a 2002 Acura RSX per the suggestion of another thread (but they are for a 2003 GAGT). They are a Shuk W21 18x7.5 rim.

Here's the specs:

Recommended Tire Size: 225/40-18
Wheel Offset: +48mm
** Lightweight: 20.7 lbs. **

Additional Specs

Bolt Pattern: 5-114
Finish Warranty: 1 Year
Construction Type: 2pc.LP Cast w/FF Rim

And a link:
Shuk W21 (http://www.tirerack.com/servlet/CallJsp?target=runWheelSearch&initialPartNumber=W21852BSAT&sizeIndex=0&wheelIndex=80&autoMake=Acura&autoModel=RSX&autoYear=2002&autoModClar=&showRear=no&email=Y)

Hopefully some of tire and rim pros will be able to help me out here. I'm looking to go with Springtech or KYB struts with Intrax springs in the future to drop the car for a better look. These rims are being discontinued I think, so they are on short supply at a decent price, so wanted to figure things out quick. Thanks in advance for any help.

I read this: Wheel sizes, hubrings and more. READ THIS FIRST.

but it doesn't say what the stock 99+ offset is....according to this:

http://www.fastco.ca/web-content/Images/Wheels2006appguide.pdf

the offset is +52

I'm looking at some rims that have an offset of +55 and have a 114.3 bolt pattern so my question is of course - would these fit?

I can't answer your question, but those are some nice lookin rims. Especially on your color.

I wouldn't recommend it. The bolt pattern isn't right (I'm sure others will say it's fine), and if you don't run into rubbing issues, it'll be very tight. Rubbing at full-steering-lock is still rubbing.

So you're saying 114.3 is a bad idea? Aren't pretty much all aftermarket rims in this pattern? I'm pretty sure the rims I have on now are 114.3...

The offset is what I'm concerned about...thanks for the feedback though.

Most will be 5x114.3, and to use them, you must get proper hub-centric rings so that the wheel centerbore fits shugly on the hub. Also, floating-head lugnuts would be a very good idea. Check the lugnut torque regularly regardless.

You should be very concerned about the offset.....I would not go with anything over +42mm.

thanks for the input but do you know what the stock offset is?
