Whenever I press on the brakes I can hear a loud clicking/creaking sound on the driver side brake. The faster I push the brake, the faster the clicking sounds. The slower I press the brake, the slower the sound.
Any suggestions on what this could be and how to fix it?
Thanks for any tips anyone can give. Its driving me nutz...

Sounds like a bad break pad. Check and see if you have any problems on the outside of the rotor if not then check the inside of the rotor. If it's all chewed up your brake pad took a ****. If everything appears to be fine check your brake slides maybe they are sticking and need some brake grease.

check the wear on your brake pads... this sound could be the wear indicator (which is a small piece of metal on the inside pad) that makes noise when your pads get too thin...

Do you get the creak while braking from one speed to another, or sitting at a total stop pressing the brake harder out of boredom?
If it is the latter, it is the piston rubbing the back side of the pad. I used some blue latex looking stuff from Permatex, and now I have total silence.
