car accident 8/21.... not good

well, i had a pretty severe accident monday afternoon in my work vehicle.... i was hit in the passenger side, the car that hit me was doing approximately 50mph, i was doing 35 mph.... i spent 12 hours in the emergency room, 99% of the damage was to my face.... the left nostril on my nose was ripped off, i punctured my sinus cavity, in total i have about 60 stitches.... ouch.... here's some pics of the car, i'll spare you guys pics of me............. please wear your seatbelt

no, i was not wearing my seatbelt

my face was messed up from the glasses i was wearing, the steering wheel, the glass from the two passenger windows flying at me, and my head hit the driver side door

this morning the pain has really set in, i'm hurting in my places that wasn't hurt before..... i can barely move my neck, i can't lift my right shoulder, it hurts to take deep breathes, and many more minor aches and pains.....

i will be a different driver from this point on

100% my fault..... i ran a stop sign, i was hit by a MALE in a full size pick up, he was not injured..... you know it takes something like this to make you see just how important life is....

Yea thats rough. I hope you recover 100%. Like they said back problems are the worst. On a side note, in this particular case i dont think the seatbelt would have helped at all..Glad to see your ok tho!

damn, it's not like i meant to have this happen.... i reached in the floorboard to get my work folder, looked up, and BAM!!!!!!...... and no i didn't see the sign, and yes, i was in a rush as usual... he did not have a stop sign.. good news is, i get my stitches out in a couple of days... everything's healing really well.......... and work's looking at getting me a new malibu for my work car, should be an improvement over the taurus

well, the stitches were taken out yesterday.... everything has healed really well, although it seems i'll have a couple of nasty scars from the whole ordeal.....

one last thing, WEAR YOUR SEATBELT!
