Forever, I guess. Jeremy got a bug up his ass because I called his gasoline burning self out, so he IP banned me. I can still get on (hence why I know about his idiotic move to try and start a bonfire with gasoline..or how about botlfed selling his car, or Alex getting rid of the Civic, or kse's GTO), but honestly, I've been watching the site and it is deader than a doornail over there. There hasn't even been anything worth me bothering to post in.

Well it doesnt help that the clientel have changed also, all the oldies have new cars (myself included and im only a middle ager haha) and the new new guys are 16 year olds (I cant talk I was 17 when I bought mine) that look to do things the cheap and quick way, so they arent really adding much information to the site. I still follow Todd and Pat, and wish I followed more often as Im so far behind on what all they have done

Like I have said in the past more times then "use the search"......I will still wake up tomorrow, I will still get a paycheck, I will still have the best sex ever, I will still smile and laugh. its not that we hibernate...we wait more or less for either jeremy or one of the admins to step in and give the final call. The only reason people get banned on here is when you either a) bring up a topic you know is extremely controversial to the site i.e. this thread because as much as we all liked bobs company he got what he deserved in the end. I hold nothing against him but i personally think if you were given multiple chances to clean up your attitude than you should do so.
or b) you contribute to the flame threads against the site. jeremy is pretty good about letting people get by stating their opinions on the site and i respect him for that, wether or not YOU personally like the site doesnt matter to anyone but YOU. If you are banned from getting too many warning points than you have good reason to be banned...if it takes you that long to get the message that youre doing something wrong, wether it be flaming a newbie or starting drama on the site, than its better that you not be aloud to continue doing so. I'm not responding as just a moderator but a member of the forum, so dont bash me im only doing exactly what you are doing, stating my opinion. If you dont like the way the site is run, than do what jeremy has stated multiple times, leave and stop bitching about how much it sucks. If it sucks that much you should have other things to be doing than sitting here complaining.

But why is it, in the case of this thread, that someone can make a comment and then get told, "the mods aren't gonna like this." I have seen that said in many threads. And I thought mods were supposed to do just that, moderate, not censor everyone.

Simple- by acting like adults and not acting like whining children. If some of the members could come up with something better than "The moderators are gay..balh blah blah I hate this forum. Take crazypontiac03 for example in this thread Jim. Would YOU take him seriously? How about braves? Was it necessary for him to post verbatim what Bob said? Absolutely not. Had Bob wanted certain people to know he would have told him- AND braves could have just posted the dyno and have been done with it. But no, he had to take that extra step and post the rest of what Bob said. Hence the issue at hand.

I got points for name calling, when I infact had something said to me, and I was clearly JOKING... and when that was addressed, nothing was done about it ... granted its only 2 points ... but still. It is, but they're just words coming from a person that lives on the other side of the country, and that I've only dealt with over a car forum. Maybe moderators should start practicing what they're preaching?

In MY opinion, I don't see what's wrong with speaking your mind. I think a lot of problems can be prevented by just turning the other cheek when someone trys to insult you.

You started the thread, you broke the rules, I have to do what I was asked. Is it really that hard to understand? Don't blatantly break the rules, then have the rest of the circus chime in and call us out and there won't be any problems.
