I just got done giving Blair the money for the kit that Mike has all the parts for except the fuel pressure regulator and that orange coupler. Mike is going to make sure that everything is right with the kit and then send it to me.

I got a great deal on the kit since those two parts were missing. I got a free boost guage, gator belt, and spark plugs.

All i need now is to get everything so that i will be able to put it on the car and get rolling.

Anybody in the Michigan area besides(AaronGTR) willing to give help or a tune?

Where are the advantages of the supercharger, within the RPM range? Does it give you more low end torque, to high end? Curious because I have a chance to get one and want more low end to mid range torque, for city driving capability.

advantage...over what NA, Turbo, Centrifigual SC, ???

Eaton SC advantage....

NA...everywhere 700rpm-7000rpm
Turbo...depends on the setup but typically 700rpms-3000rpms
Centrifigual SC...700rpms-5000ishrpms

What, I ain't good enough? lol j/k

Seriously though, no one else in MI has or has ever had that kit, and I'm probably the most experienced powrtuner user in the area ATM (which isn't saying much), so I'm probably your best bet. Just let me know if you want help with the install and when you wanna do it and I'll be happy to help man. Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the club! :)

timberwoof... the advantages of the supercharger is more power everywhere compared to naturally aspirated. Hence the reason forced induction rules. The eaton roots blower specifically makes more low end torque and hp compared to a centrifugal SC or turbo (as a general rule anyway) because it starts making boost earlier. Centrifugal SC's take a little more time to build boost and are more peaky, but are more efficient than roots blowers so they don't sap quite as much power at high rpm. They are actually a pretty good match for the 3400 engine with it's low end torque but limited high end power. Turbo's are the most efficient at making high end power but have some lag in the low end. They are easy to adjust the boost levels though and make more power.
