Engine running different....

today i noticed the engine was running different. The temp has still been under 200 degrees...but i hear this ticking noise...it may be the lifters and im just being paranoid. Do you guys have any idea what this could be? the coolant is the same and stuff so i dont think its the LIM going. And you can adjust the throttle right?

when was there a ticking? u need to be more specific about whats actually wrong

have you been using cheep gas like circle K gas or 7-11 gas. That could do it.

I hope it's something minor. I started to hear a "ticking' noise from my motor and it turned out to be a huge mess. ;crap Basically I spun rod bearing one on my motor. It started with a small tick then to a loud tap at the bottom of the engine block. Hopefully in your case it's nothing at all but if you feel it needs to be looked into, by all means do so. But in essence, there needs to be more info needed to help you with your problem and you have to be as specific as possible. A "ticking" sound could be anything.

Yea...I mean it kinda sounds like the lifters,but it caught my attention lately. I only use Premium gas from sunoco or BP..so i know its not a gas issue..I mean are the lifters on the GA like noticeably noisy?..You really can only tell when you start the car and its cold

whooowhoooo.....you will get that in the morning on cold days invest in an autostart system to warm the car up before getting in. Just make sure you have gas in the car so it doesnt sit there for 10 min running and you run outta gas like my mornon ass did at 4 am on a friday.

haha thanks guys....yea i got a autostart system for xmas last year....Yea it was cold this morning when i was at home,started the car and it was doing that...drove the car two hours to kzoo...ran great here.
